Goodyear Mavericks Cheer
Year two of a brand-new program. Our squad cheers the Mavs on at home football and basketball games, and our competition team is getting ready to compete for the first time in school history. We're the booster club that raises the money to get them there, and local sponsors make that possible.

- Donate clothing, toys, shoes, books and more to support the cheer team. The more donations collected, the more funds raised.
- Items must be in good, clean, salable condition. Only items Goodwill accepts count toward the fundraiser, so check the list before you load the car.
- You unload your own donations into the bins provided. Small appliances and small furniture must be easy for one person to lift and fit in a bin (about 3.5 ft by 3.5 ft).

Goodyear High opened its doors in August 2025, and the cheer program started with it. Here's what this squad has done in a little over a year.
1st
Performance: Cardinals halftime
Their very first show was on the field at State Farm Stadium with the Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders, October 2025.
4th
Camp Routine at UCA camp
And 5th in the Spirit Routine, July 2026: the first trophies the program brought home.

- Goodyear joins cheer and pom teams from across Arizona for the Cardinals' high school halftime show.
- The school that sells the most tickets wins a Cardinals pep assembly on campus. Let's bring it to Goodyear.
- Families can come to the morning practice on the Great Lawn for a behind-the-scenes look and photos.

Tickets arrive by email in your SeatGeek account, and one is created for you if you don't have it. Tickets bought anywhere else don't count toward Goodyear's fundraiser or the ticket competition.
